TYPE OF VEHICLES:

All standard road going saloons, sports cars, certain "jeep type" saloons that comply with the road traffic regulations are eligible. 2 and 4 wheel drive permitted.

WHERE AND WHEN:

Night Navigation Rallying takes place all around the country during the autumn and winter months from October to March.

LICENCE REQUIRENENTS AND STARTING AGE:

To DRIVE in Navigation Rallies, a RALLY category "National B" grade licences or higher is required. The minimum age is 17 years and applicants must hold a full Road Traffic Act driving license. A Medical certificate is not required.

To NAVIGATE in Navigation Rallies, RALLY categories "Navigator" grade license or higher is required. The minimum age is 16 years. A Road Traffic Act driving license is not required, nor is a Medical Certificate.

In both cases, competitors under 18 years of age require written permission from parents or guardians. A FIRST 'TIME license costs as little as £20 if you are a member of one of our affiliated Motor Clubs - non-members pay £50.
